Efter 47 \u00e5r i Store\u00a0Kongensgade 70 har vi besluttet os for at flytte.<\/span><\/p>\n

At flytte hjemmefra\u00a0efter 47 \u00e5r er m\u00e5ske ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 tide \u2026 det er tid til at pr\u00f8ve noget nyt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Som 5. generation\u00a0gl\u00e6der vi os til at starte p\u00e5 nye eventyr og sammen med vores loyale og dejlige g\u00e6ster skrive et nyt kapitel i Huset Davidsens vidunderlige historie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vi gl\u00e6der os til at kunne\u00a0fort\u00e6lle jer mere om den nye restaurant, og endnu mere til at byde jer alle\u00a0sammen velkommen igen.<\/span><\/p>\n

That crazy that they have now reached the fifth generation who has made a living out of high-piled \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d\u201d.<\/p>\n

If something is unbearably long, you say that it is as long as Oskar Davidsen\u2019s list of \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d .\u201d There is a reason for this, as in 1888 the one and same Davidsen started out with an open sandwich business on N\u00f8rrebro with no less than 177 pieces of \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d\u201d to choose between.<\/p>\n

So, today it is the fifth generation, also an Oscar (with a c) who runs the business, which is now situated in Store Kongensgade and is also a luncheonette.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]It is named after the great-grandchild of the old Oskar, namely Ida Davidsen, who runs the kitchen (queen Ida, her son calls her), and the list of \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d\u201d is now longer and has reached 250 pieces of \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d\u201d, by now.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is cosy, the waiters are talking menus and there are plenty of regulars. Especially very famous people who, if they have earned it, have a piece of \u201dsm\u00f8rrebr\u00f8d\u201d named after them. For example, you may set your teeth into Uffe Ellemann (worth considering!) or Victor Borge.
